A water slide that has been described as “pure terror”, the Point of No Return is not a slide for the faint of heart. One of the fastest slide in Wisconsin Dells, you’ll descend from 10 stories up in around 5 seconds. This jaw-dropping, death-defying slide can be found at Noah’s Ark Waterpark.
Zimbabwe Zipper – Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark
One of the fastest indoor waterslides on planet earth; the Zimbabwe Zipper is a pipe-style spiral slide. The slide can be quite exhilarating as it reaches top speeds of over 40 miles per hour.
Durango Drop – Outdoor Waterpark, Chula Vista Resorts
The featured slide at the Lost Rios Outdoor Waterpark on the Chula Vista Resort, the Durango Drop is an exciting ride. An 8-story high slide propels individuals down on an extreme body slide while overlooking the whole resort.
Dragon’s Tail – Mt. Olympus Outdoor Waterpark

Not a speed demon like some of the other best waterslides in Wisconsin Dells, the Howlin’ Tornado is still a ride for those seeking a thrill. A ride for 2,3 or 4 passengers on a tube – the slide features a number of splashes, steep drops and quick accelerations. You’ll swirl 30 feet up the sides of this 6-story funnel before falling to a splash landing.
